Warranty on Pool Shell for as long as you own your pool
American Pool Design warrants the pneumatically applied concrete shell to be free from structural cracks. This warranty applies to cracks both above and below the waterline for as long as you own the pool. Piping, skimmers and main drains installed in and under the pool are warrantied to hold water. APD will repair the shell and repair or replace the pipes so that they will hold water if a leak or crack does occur. If such work requires repair of tile, coping or plaster finish APD will do so without charge.
Warranty Transfer
This structural warranty may be transferred once within the first 10 years, from the Original Owner of the pool to a new owner of the property. Transfer does require an inspection of the pool by (for a fee) by APD. Component parts and other warranties are not transferable.
Warranty on Filter Tank
The filter tank which is installed on your pool is warrantied against leaks for as long as you own your pool. All internal parts such as cartidges and grids are warranted for three (3) years.
Warranty on Pool Pump
APD warrants to the buyer that the pool pump (excluding motor) shall be free from defects in the material and workmanship for as long as it is owned by the original buyer.
Five Year Limited Warranty on Intergal Components
American Pool Design warranties the following items for a period of five years against defects in workmanship; coping, tile, motors, valves, lights(excluding bulbs), ladders, diving boards, and ladders.
One Year Warranty on all other Parts and Accessories
All others parts, accessories, and components including decking, electrical and waterfall work installed by APD and included on this contract are warranted for one year labor and material.
Ten Year Limited Warranty on Pool Heater
The heater cabinet, burners, internal gas piping, and combustion chamber refactory shall be free of defects for a 10 year period. In the first two years warranty covers labor and material. Years three thru ten warranty will cover material only prorated at 1/120 of the current list price of the part for each month elapsed since the installation date. All other parts are warranted for a two year period for both labor and materials.
